Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the Indianapolis market. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing a team of electricians and adhering to safety regulations while planning, budgeting and coordinating projects to meet company needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Foreman and Project Managers within the organization to develop a work scope attack plan

  • Conduct detailed job-site meetings and make sure you have thorough job-site visits

  • Ensuring field personnel adheres to assigned tasks and specifications

  • Monitoring, filling out and approving PTO time, jobsite paperwork, daily time, days off, and separation notices

  • Ability and previous experience setting up and coordinating tools and equipment for job sites

  • Adhering to company tool tracking, care and maintenance making sure that it’s documented properly for warehouse team

  • Previous experience in staffing projects, field training, and handling disciplinary actions

  • Monitor and track rental equipment and gas cylinders

  • Being able to send out weekly/monthly projections for jobsites as well as recognizing change orders on-site

  • Taking care of general housekeeping and having good organizational skills

  • Motivate and challenge our field workers to meet or exceed milestones/goals

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Previous verifiable experience in the industry trades or a related field.

  • Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, and Excel

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to electrical systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and precision in the electrical field

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
