Position Summary
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee industrial mechanical piping and/or plumbing construction projects to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule
Review project plans and specifications, build project schedules, make recommendations of potential cost-saving measures and identify potential construction problems
Complete job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings
Work with general contractors, vendors and subcontractors to coordinate project schedules, RFIs and change orders
Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials as required and ensure delivery in accordance with project schedules
Ensure construction site has all resources needed to execute plan
Track project costs to meet budget
Coordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs, adjusting as needed
Conduct and attend Pre-Construction and post construction meetings
Manage multiple projects varying in scope simultaneously
Continuous communication with office personnel, General Contractor, owner and others as needed
Complete all required documentation electronically
Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications
8 plus years total experience in project management
Experience in industrial construction projects including Data Centers, Steel Mills, Pharmaceutical Facilities and others
Management of projects ranging in size and scope from $25/$30 million plus
Experienced with project cost to complete, project financials and project close outs
OSHA 30 Hour preferred
Mechanical experience preferred

Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other layout materials
Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
